We moved from Toronto to the countryside of Ontario 7 years ago. No more traffic jams! The skies are clear and we are near two major bodies of water. We shop at the local farmers' markets and take drives into wine country. The people are wonderful here and the ambience is friendly.

 

We're 13 minutes from picturesque Brighton and 20 minutes from "big-city" Belleville and the Quinte Mall. Our town is home to CFB 8 Wing, Trenton, one of the largest and busiest air force bases in Canada.

 

We live just 6 minutes from the 401, but to get there we pass farms with grazing horses and strawberry, raspberry, sunflower, corn, and pumpkin fields! Whenever we need to go to Toronto, the hour and a half drive on the 401 is pleasant and easy.
